Olivenz: revisit

was going around Greentown looking for good food, n voila!, came across a familiar signboard. Olivenz: the place in Ipoh Garden...which made me traumatized with sausage. dun get me wrong. it wasnt bad in taste at all. but even I ( i repeat it, even me!) cant finish the humongous Jumbo sausage. n after tat meal, i swear that i would not take anymore sausage.... n it took me so many months to overcome the trauma.

so u can imagine my surprise to c Olivenz in greentown. one thing, it is no more the corner shop. less space. smaller size. n same with the food, it was smaller in portion. more managable portion.
order the chicken this time... instead of the sausage. Butter sauce chicken n garlic chicken. tot the chicken will be a better choice. n yup. it did taste better. the price was reasonable (though not as cheap). but still nothing to shout about. a bit on the salty side though. it was cooked as if it should be eaten with rice. the side dish was relatively none. it was served with french fries, alot of fries. as if it is supposed to be fed to those who are not satisfy with the meat.

so in the end, we left the shop, feeling better than the first time. but any lasting impression..?. well, still far from that.

rating: 2 half poink (wife give 2)
comments: forgettable, but least it is a decent place for food.
